Roger Lewis Hon SGFA,
          PPSGFA, UKCPS Gold

After completing 4 year full- time NDD studies at the Sutton and Cheam College of Art in the late 1950's, Roger pursued a continuous career in commercial art, managing various prominent London art and design studios. On becoming freelance in 1980, he specialised in airbrush illustration, eventually concentrating on producing Fine Art drawings and paintings.

A prime consideration is sound basic drawing expertise, hence his commitment as President of the professional Society of Graphic Fine Art [founded 1919] with whom he has exhibited in their exhibitions in Bath and London continuously since 1998.

Other admissions include The Chelsea Art Society, United Artists, The Dulwich Picture Gallery Exhibitions and Roger regularly exhibits locally with The Croydon Art Society. His paintings have also featured in art techniques books published by the American "International Artist" magazine and the British "Painting World". He has achieved many awards for his work and is listed in "Who's "Who in Art" 33rd edition and "Dictionary of International Biography" 2009 edition.

A solo exhibition in 2001 preceded his regular adult art tuition classes at The Ripley Arts Centre, Bromley and "Art Events" courses in Reigate, Surrey, tutoring in most drawing and painting techniques.

Further interests include contributing illustrated features, step -by-step demonstrations and critiques for the art press and at meetings of local art groups as well as private tuition.
