I live in Sydney, Australia and am a retired small animal vet, mother of four, volunteer at Taronga Zoo, and botanical artist.

I took up botanical art in 2008, as it seemed the perfect way to combine my loves of science, art, and nature.

It is a field dominated by watercolours, but I love the detail and control that coloured pencils allow.
